RISE OF THE ANGRY EARTH

Rise of the Angry Earth was our paid expansion for New World. During this time, I was handing off Outsourcing and VFX management while transitioning into AI & Creature development. This included:

- Kicking off VFX development on our next new weapon, the Flail.

- External development on creature animations and new rewards content for the expansion.

- Main Story Quest updates for the main game alongside paid content.

- Managing creature development across 3 external development partners.

CREATURES & CODEV

Players explore the overgrown structures of this bioluminescent landscape and battle the ferocious beasts that have taken refuge in the verdant, unsettled terrain. This included a new "hercyne" creature family with 3 new combatants and additional ambient creatures.

The new zone of Elysian Wilds got an additional quest line with powerful new combat options, and primordial Beast Lords await those brave enough to challenge Artemis. I worked with our External Development partners at Virtuos, Lost Boys Interactive, and Blind Squirrel Games as they developed new Main Story Quest Bosses like Artemis and Questgivers like Taurus.

RotAE also added a new Level 62+ Expedition, the Savage Divide, to track down the primordial Beast Lords before chaos emerges from the depths of Aeternum. This dungeon includes all the new open world creatures for the expansion and Codevelopment on its two bosses; Kurok and Mahantaram.
